Accessibility

We want everyone to be able to use this site, whatever device or assistive technology they use.

Our commitment

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA. Accessibility is treated as part of building and reviewing the site, not as a one-off audit.

What we have built in

  • Semantic HTML with a logical heading structure on every page.
  • A “skip to main content” link as the first item in the tab order.
  • Full keyboard operability, with a clearly visible focus indicator on every interactive element.
  • Descriptive alternative text on meaningful images; decorative images are hidden from assistive technology.
  • Form fields with persistent visible labels, hint text, and errors announced through a live region.
  • Text and interface colours checked against the WCAG AA contrast minimums.
  • Layouts that reflow to 320 px and support browser zoom to 200% without loss of content.
  • Respect for the operating system’s reduced-motion preference.
  • Content that works with JavaScript unavailable, with scripting used only as enhancement.

Third-party content

Where this site links to Sam’s Club or other third-party websites, we do not control the accessibility of those destinations.

Tell us about a barrier
